The Friends of the Healesville Freeway Reserve are holding a Community Action Day on Sunday 23 March 2014 from 10 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. at the George Road end of the Bellbird Dell in Vermont South (Melway 62 J-6).
The aims of the Action Day are to:
- Enable the Whitehorse community to view and discuss the ALP, Community and Whitehorse Council concept plans for the development of the Healesville Freeway Rese
- Compare them with the ‘Shared Path/Biolink concept put forward by VicRoads in November 2013
- From 12 noon hear the views of our elected representatives (State, Local and Opposition) on the future for the Healesville Freeway Reserve
- Assist Whitehorse community members in making informed decisions regarding the future uses &development of this important 35-hectare site.
